Dr. P.R. Mukund, President and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Mukund brings his wide expertise in the IC industry as well as his industry and government contacts to the table. Dr. Mukund is Gleason Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and the director of the RF/Analog/Mixed‐signal Laboratory (RAMLAB) at RIT. He is the director of several research projects funded by the National Science Foundation, Semiconductor Research Corporation, and companies such as Intel, Kodak, Motorola, LSI Logic, totaling over $1.5 million in funding.
Dr. Vanditha Mukund, Chief Operating Officer
Dr. Vanditha Mukund has many years of industrial experience, both in the United States, and in India. After getting a Ph.D. in Mgmt. Sc. with concentration in Comp. Sc. from Univ. of Tenn. in Knoxville, she joined Xerox Corporation, and advanced quickly to being a Senior Manager. During her 10 year tenure at Xerox, she has worked as a manager in Product Development with focus in areas such as Requirements Management, System Architecture, Architecture Governance, and various aspects of Software Operations Management including Software Development Processes, Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, and Release Management. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Dr. Ajay Pasupuleti, Vice President, Technology
Dr. Pasupuleti is the inventor of the patent pending wafer‐scale archiving technique which he has assigned to NanoArk. Dr. Pasupuleti received his Doctorate degree from the Department of Microsystems at RIT in September 2006. He has extensive fabrication experience and looks after all technology and production related matters at NanoArk.
Dr. Easton has worked for several years of the application of modern imaging technologies to recover writings from historical manuscripts. He has applied imaging techniques to enhance the readability of the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Khaboris Codex, the colophon of a Florentine manuscript in Hebrew and the Archimedes Palimpsest. Due to his vast expertise in imaging, Dr. Easton looks after the design and development of the WaferFiche™ reader system.
Mr. Toth brings extensive US Government experience with his work on space and intelligence systems and subsystems. During his 28 years of US Government service, Mr. Toth managed the development, integration and operation of intelligence, imagery and geospatial information systems around the globe. He retired from government service in September 2007, and continues to work at NanoArk on a range of issues related to development of standards and testing of the Waferfiche as well as developing relationship with various government agencies.
Mr. Purushotham is currently a Vice President for Graphic Communications Group at the Eastman Kodak Company responsible for the Electro‐photographic Digital Production Printing Systems business. He has been in the imaging business for over 35 years. He was responsible for envisioning and executing on a new business development strategy for Kodak in the mid‐1990s, which resulted in a joint venture with global reach between Kodak and German offset printing giant Heidelberg Druckmaschinen AG. From its inception until its acquisition and merger with Kodak, he was the president and CEO of this JV, which went from zero to several hundred million dollars in revenue in just over 5 years.
Mr. Rajsekhar Reddy is a successful entrepreneur who is the President and CEO of Mobile Tech Services in Athens, Tennessee. His company provides Mobile Nuclear Medicine Services including PET/CT to several rural hospitals in East Tennessee. Over past 29 years in this business, he has taken his company from zero to several million dollars. Mr. Reddy graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1979 with a Masters Degree in Radiation Biology.
Usha Yelisetty, Director-Operations
Mrs. Usha has over 18 years of industrial experience, eight years of which was in the field of financial management in industries related to Hospitality, Mass media, Infrastructure and Manufacturing. Usha also led a team as an in-house Share Transfer Agent for Sunflag Iron and Steel Company at Nagpur for five years. She did her Masters in Business Administration specialized in financial management and Graduation in Law from Nagpur University. In the last ten years she was with DMC Management Consultants Ltd a leading health care service provider, an Indian collaborator of Mediquist & UAB Health Care and advanced her career from Asst Manager to Sr. Manager. During this tenure she gained in-depth experience in designing and implementing business modules with clients in India, HR initiatives related to recruitment, talent counseling, capacity building, performance management and value based culture building programs. She also specialized in legal procedures and compliances, interpretations and drafting legal documents. To meet the organizational requirements and enhance the professional acumen she also did her Post graduation in Psychology (Industrial) and PG Diploma in Industrial and Intellectual Property laws.
P. Jagadish Babu, Managing Director
Mr. Jagadish Babu brings 37 years of valuable experience in corporate credit management, retail and agricultural credit, international business and top‐executive grade management skills to the table. He recently retired from State Bank of India (SBI), one of the largest public sector banks in the world, as General Manager (GM) Network II in Andhra Pradesh, India. During this assignment he was in charge of 560 branches with over 3000 employees and handled a business portfolio of over Rs. 220,000 millions and an annual profit of Rs. 4800 millions. Prior to that, he was GM MCG at SBI Bangalore Circle where he was in charge of Corporate Credit portfolio of more than Rs. 30,000 millions in the State of Karnataka. Apart from these assignments he held a wide range of assignments in SBI including managing credit requirements of thousands of small, medium and large enterprises, inspection & audit system and compliances with government and Reserve Bank of India guidelines and stipulations and rural poverty alleviation programs with good success.
Dr. Fenella G. France Ph.D., MBA, Library of Congress, Preservation Expert
Dr. France is a cultural heritage professional currently providing preservation services to the Library of Congress. She supports NanoArk with research and assessment of the materials and environment required for a package to archive documents on wafers (silicon, aluminum, or other material) with the goal of being more durable than microfilm.
Dr. Alan Raisanen, Associate Director, SMFL RIT, Fabrication Expert
Dr. Raisanen is the Rochester Institute of Technology Semiconductor & Microsystems Fabrication Laboratory (RIT SMFL) liaison for NanoArk. In this capacity, he helps with the investigation of replacement substrates and overcoat materials set to make the NanoArk archival wafer robust against physical damage, corrosion, wear, fire, and other dangers.
Dr. Keith Knox, Boeing LTS, Inc., Imaging Expert
Dr. Knox is a Senior Imaging Scientist with the Boeing LTS Air Force Research Laboratory in Kihei, Hawaii. He consults NanoArk on image processing and the extraction of information from noisy images by running images through various image‐processing algorithms using Adobe Photoshop and Dr. Knox's own custom software.
Dr. Gaurav Sharma, Associate Professor ECE Department U of R, Imaging Expert
Dr. Sharma is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the University of Rochester, Rochester NY. He is also the Director for the Center for Electronic Imaging Systems (CEIS), a New York state supported center for promoting joint university‐industry research and technology development. He consults with NanoArk in various imaging related issues pertaining to the capture of images from various media and image retrieval algorithms from WaferFiche™.
