The Waferfiche™ fabrication process involves various well‐established processing steps used in the semiconductor industry.  

Photolithography is used to reduce document sizes to small dimensions, and the process of oxide deposition, metal deposition and metal etching are used to create the Waferfiche™.  The archived images on the wafer pass through rigorous quality assurance tests.  The digitized images are then added to the flash memory on the Waferfiche™ and then the package is sealed in an attractive plastic case.

NanoArk will mail the Waferfiche™ to the customers, with a warranty period for customers to review the images.  At the end of the warranty period, NanoArk will remove all customer sensitive image data from the servers.
